Boating Safety & Education:

• You will be required to take a short quiz before departing with the rental (this will take only a few minutes). This quiz allows us to evaluate your knowledge of boating rules, etiquette, and operation, and in which areas you require clarification or further information.

Cancellation Policy:

Daily or ½ Day Rentals:
You are eligible for a 100% refund with 7 or more* days notice from the rental date.

Multi-day / Weekly Rental:
You are eligible for a 100% refund with 14 or more* days notice from the rental date.

Weather:
Reservations are Rain or Shine! Dangerous conditions are the only grounds for a 100% refund; Non-ideal weather* is not sufficient to warrant a refund. Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions are solely at the discretion of representatives of Brewerton Boat Yard.

*A credit for another rental period may be offered at the discretion of a Brewerton Boat Yard representative.

Fish & Cruise Pontoons Policies

Pet Policy:

• One (1) dog under 50lb is permitted* per rental. Brewerton Boat Yard representatives have discretion to deny pet privilege based on behavior: An overactive dog that is perceived to pose a danger to passengers or our boat may be disallowed on the rental. *You are responsible for any damage caused by your dog, and part or all of your security deposit may be forfeited. 

Fishing:

• Fishing is allowed. Please remember that you are responsible for any damage caused by fishing (i.e. upholstery/carpet damage from hooks, fish, equipment, etc.), and part or all of your security deposit may be forfeited. Fishing licenses are required for anyone over age 16.
